Slovene Pharmaceutical Company Opens New Factory in Poland

Warsaw, 30 October - Presidents of Slovenia and Poland, Milan Kucan and Alexander Kwasniewski, attended the opening of a new production-distribution facility of Krka Polska, a subsidiary of Slovene pharmaceutical company Krka, in the Polish capital of Warsaw on Tuesday. The investment of US$ 25 million is the largest Slovene investment in Poland so far. The new plant will produce mostly drugs in solid form for the Polish and other Central European markets.
