One Bid for Purchase of Shoe Manufacturer Inadequate, the Other Has to Be Amended

Ljubljana, 30 October - The supervisory commission for the sale of the government's 81.3-percent stake in Slovene shoe manufacturer Peko analysed the bids received by last week. According to the Economics Ministry, one bid was dismissed as inadequate, while the other bid by four Peko subsidiaries is to be amended by 20 November as concerns the legal permission for the company to be bought by its subsidiaries.
