Holding of Slovene Power Plants to Export Electricity to Italy

Ljubljana, 30 October - Holding Slovenske elektrarne, a holding of Slovene power plants, has signed a contract on Tuesday on the export of electricity to Italy in 2002. The move is the fulfillment of one of the company's chief goals, and is in line with expectations of the owner, the Slovene government, set when the company was established, the Holding said in a press release.
