Ljubljana, 2 November - Immediately following the September 11 attacks, the Pentagon admitted that finding Osama bin Laden would be at least as complicated as finding a needle in a haystack. The initial theories, that the U.S. special forces would turn every bale of hay in Afghanistan with surgically-precise missions in a bid to arrest or kill bin Laden, were quickly converted into a more realistic approach. The Americans simply opted to set the hay alight, the daily Delo writes on Friday.
