Slovene Association in Italy Addresses Appeal to Council of Europe and OSCE

Trieste, 4 November - ITALY/SLOVENIA/MINORITY
The Slovene social and political association from Trieste, Unity, addressed a letter to Council of Europe (CoE) Secretary General Walter Schwimmer and High Commissioner for national minorities at the OSCE, Rols Ekeus, to warn about the alarming status of the Slovene minority in Italy in the light of the minority's recent efforts to obtain census forms in the Slovene language.
