Sale of Banka Koper Inadmissible Historical Mistake, Says a NSi Member
Koper, 5 November - Narrow business interests prevailed over the national financial interest in the sale of the majority stake of the bank Banka Koper to the Italian banking group SanPaolo IMI, said Marjan Starc, a member of the opposition party New Slovenia (NSi), at a news conference on Monday. Starc thus commented Tuesday's deal made between the Italian group and shareholders of Banka Koper.
