Progress of Information and Telecommunications Technology Calls for New Reflection
Portorož, 5 November - Slovenia spends more money on information technology per person than any other EU candidate country, while its mobile service sector still remains too monopolistic. These were only two of several major points made at the beginning of Telecommunications 2001, a two-day international conference which kicked off at the seaside resort of Portoroz on Monday.
