Vecer: Neighbourly Visit

Maribor, 7 November - It is somewhat strange that after being President for ten years, Milan Kucan officially visited the neighbouring Austria for the first time only on Tuesday, writes Wednesday's issue of Slovene daily Vecer, pointing out that Kucan also met with Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel, who only a year ago said that Kucan was a man with one foot in the past.
