UniCredito and Bank Austria Interested in Purchasing Slovenia's Second Largest Bank

Maribor, 7 November - Following countless speculations in the media about the names of potential buyers of a 65-percent stake in the second-largest Slovene bank, Nova kreditna banka Maribor (NKBM), Italy's UniCredito and Bank Austria Creditanstalt (BA/CA) made an end to guessing on Wednesday and announced that they were both interested in acquiring the majority stake in the Maribor-based bank.
