Parliament Defence Committee Endorses Amendments to Defence Development Act

Ljubljana, 8 November - The defence committee of the Slovene Parliament unanimously endorsed Thursday amendments to the act on basic defence development programmes. The government had originially adopted the amendments and sent them for parliamentary procedure on 11 October, since it established that regular budgetary funds do not suffice for the necessary restructuring of the Slovene Armed Forces.
