Slovene Foreign Minister Believes Slovenia Will Stay in U.S. Visa Waiver Programme

Ljubljana, 9 November - Judging by the information at his disposal, Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is confident there is no cause for concern about the U.S. Visa Waiver programme allowing Slovene citizens to enter the U.S. without visas. On the contrary, the U.S. experts that concluded their inspection visit to Slovenia today, were supposedly very satisfied with what they have seen, Rupel told the parliamentary committee for foreign affairs on Friday. Rupel also spoke about President Milan Kucan's recent official visit to Austria, Slovene-Croatian relations and the agreement on protection of investments with the U.S..
