Support for EU Accession Continues to Drop in Applicant Countries, Shows Poll

Ljubljana, 9 November - Public support for EU accession in EU applicant countries has dropped, shows a November survey by one of major international research agencies Taylor Nelson Sofres Factum. According to the agency's data, EU accession support dropped from 62.9 to 55.7 percent in eleven candidate countries, Cyprus and Malta excluded, on a year-to-year comparison. Slovenia's support for EU accession was at 57.9 percent.
