Fructal Notes Gross Profit Growth of 136 Percent This Year

Vipava, 9 November - Slovene beverage producer Fructal recorded gross profit growth of 136 percent in the first nine months of this year if compared to the same period last year. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Fructal's CEO Marijan V. Mir denied media reports about Belgium's Interbrew holding talks with Croatia's food-producing company Podravka on the sale of Fructal, which is owned by Slovene brewery Pivovarna Union, Interbrew's takeover target.
