Anti-War Protest also Against WTO Meeting in Qatar

Ljubljana, 9 November - Some 250 people turned out at an anti-war manifestation in Ljubljana on Friday, which aimed to draw attention to fear and phobias which have occured throughout the world as well as in Slovenia. As Barbara Beznec, one of the organisers, said, the protest was also aimed against the ministerial meeting of the World Trade Organisation between 9 and 13 November in Qatar, where "the WTO hid from protestors and different-minded", as there are no political parties in this country, while demonstrations are prohibited.
