Ombudsmen Call for State Policy on Human Rights in Transition Countries
Ljubljana, 13 November - It is very important for countries in transition to set a state policy on the protection and promotion of human rights, complete with legal and other mechanisms, it was concluded on Tuesday at the end of the two-day conference entitled "Relations between the Ombudsman and Judiciary Bodies", which has been organised by Slovene Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek in co-operation with the Council of Europe (CoE).
