Chief Negotiator Potocnik Satisfied with Positive Tone of Progress Report

Ljubljana, 13 November - Slovenia's Chief Negotiator with the EU, Janez Potocnik, told STA that he is satisfied with the European Commission's assessment of Slovenia's preparations for EU accession. This year's report reflects the actual state of affairs in Slovenia and confirms that the country is actually coming close to meeting its own goal, i.e. to be innerly prepared by the end of next year to assume the obligations of membership, said Potocnik.
