Commission's Criticism of Regional Development Expected, Says Government Official
Ljubljana, 13 November - With Slovenia having opposed the European Commission's proposal on the territorial division of the country, it is logical that the Commission noted a lack of progress when assessing the country's regional development. This was said by Igor Strmsnik, Economics Ministry State Secretary in charge of regional development, in response to the Commission's report on Slovenia's progress towards EU accession.
