Slovenia's Europe Minister Satisfied with Progress Report and Enlargement Strategy

Ljubljana, 13 November - Slovenia's Minister for European Affairs Igor Bavcar is pleased with the report on Slovenia's progress towards EU membership which was released by the European commission on Tuesday. "This is the best report so far, and it is a good basis for the report to be released next year when the European Commission will base on it its final opinion on accession of individual candidates," said Minister Bavcar, who believes that the document is a proper picture of the state of Slovenia's preparedness, confirming that the country is on the right track to meeting the set goals.
