Forecasts Down on Slovenia's Economic Growth

Ljubljana, 14 November - Due to global economic slowdown and a considerable slump in this year's domestic investments, Slovenia's economic growth is to stand at 3.7 percent this year, dropping from the 4.4-percent spring forecasts, while the 2002 growth is to reach 3.6 percent, and not 4.2 percent as was first predicted, a report by the Slovene Office for Macroeconomics Analysis and Development (UMAR) suggests.
