Slovene MPs Satisfied with Progress Report

Ljubljana, 14 November - Speaker of the Parliament Borut Pahor expressed his content over the positive tone of the European Commission's progress report on Slovenia, but stressed that the praise would not lull the National Assembly to sleep. On the contrary, lawmakers would do all in their power for the next year's progress report to be even better, which should open the door for Slovenia's EU membership, Speaker Pahor said during Wednesday's debate of the report in parliament.
