Slovene Police to Consider Allegations of Brutality by European Commission

Ljubljana, 14 November - The Slovene Police cannot as yet comment allegations about the increasing police brutality from the progress report on Slovenia's accession towards the EU, as it wishes to carefully examine it first. This was said by police spokesman Miran Koren on Wednesday in the police's first response to the report, which points to the exaggerated use of force on apprehended persons.
