Slovenia Definitely an Option for NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Says Estrella

Ljubljana, 14 November - Members of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, who are unanimously for NATO enlargement, will continue to appeal to their respective governments for enlargement, so the Prague NATO summit in 2002 would reach a broad and regionally balanced decision, said the Assembly's President Rafael Estrella after meeting with Slovene Speaker of Parliament Borut Pahor in Ljubljana on Wednesday. Estrella assured that all enlargement scenarios discussed by the Assembly include Slovenia and a various number of other candidate countries. He also accepted Slovenia's offer to host the Parliamentary Assembly in 2005.
