Gorenje Increases Revenues Despite Looming Recession

Velenje, 14 November - One of the largest companies and exporters in Slovenia, the Gorenje group, saw revenues in the first nine months soar 20 percent to SIT 114 billion (517,2 million euros), with profits up 30 percent to SIT 2.57 billion (11.7 million euros), said the Gorenje management in a news release on Wednesday, adding that sales were boosted by demand for household appliances, furniture and services.
