President and Prime Minister Congratulate Victorious Slovene Footballers

Ljubljana, 15 November - Slovenia's football team that made it to the World Championships in 2002 on Wednesday, thus achieving one of the greatest Slovene sport successes of 2001, was received by Slovene President Milan Kucan and Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek on Thursday. Wishing them good luck, the two officials congratulated the team and said the Slovene footballers have put Slovenia on the map.
