President of Slovene National Council to Preside over Association of European Senates

Ljubljana, 15 November - The President of the Slovene National Council, Tone Hrovat, took on the presidency of the Association of European Senates at a recent conference in Brussels. Hrovat told a press conference on Thursday that on 25 June Slovenia's National Council is to host a conference which would focus on the role of senates in assuring balance of power and the two-chamber system in the EU.
