Slovenia Pleased with WTO Agreement Reached in Qatar

Ljubljana, 15 November - If the WTO Ministerial Conference in Qatar had been unsuccessful, it would have long-term economic consequences, especially in the EU. Slovenia, who is pleased with the course of events, represented the view in Doha that a new round of multilateral talks should be launched, but that individual issues should be dealt with separately, Economics Ministry State Undersecretary Dimitrij Grcar told STA on Thursday.
