Co-operation in the Region Is Vital, Agriculture Officials Say

Leibnitz, 16 November - Slovene farmers are sometimes justifiably worried about the country's integration into the EU. Yet, they are not afraid of competition coming from the neighbouring regions or countries, but would like to co-operate with them in drafting a joint European agricultural policy, Slovene Agriculture Minister Franci But said Friday after attending an international congress in Austria's Leibnitz which focussed on agriculture and neighbouring regions.
