Banka Koper Rating Raised to BBB

Turin, 16 November - The international rating agency Fitch on Wednesday upgraded the long-term rating for the bank Banka Koper from BBB- to BBB, while individual rating was raised from C/D to C. Fitch also confirmed the bank's short-term rating of F3, the Italian banking group SanPaolo IMI, which recently signed a contract on the takeover of Banka Koper, reported on Friday.
