Privatisation of Banks Must not Be Stopped, Agree Slovene Experts

Maribor, 17 November - Many open issues remain in regard to bank privatisation, however the process should not be halted, as this would have more negative than positive effects, Chairman of the Board of Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB) Marko Voljc told a press conference on Saturday following a conference of Slovene bankers in Maribor. The two-day meeting, organised by the Slovene Banks Association, focussed on ownership and management of banks, privatisation and internationalisation.
