Slovene Officials to Attend CEI Summit in Trieste
Ljubljana, 21 November - Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel are to represent Slovenia at the annual summit of 17 countries taking part in the Central European Initiative (CEI). The summit, taking place in Italy's Trieste on Thursday and Friday, is to discuss the post-September 11 situation in the world, assess the situation in CEI countries and affirm the CEI Action Plan for 2002 and 2003. Slovene Economics Minister Tea Petrin is to attend the economic forum held on the side of the summit on Wednesday.
