Austrian-Slovenian Symposium on Franz Kafka

Maribor, 10 March - A two-day Austrian-Slovenian symposium on Franz Kafka began today in the university library in Maribor. It is being organised by the Germanic Studies Department of the Pedagogical Faculty at the University of Maribor, which is co-financing the event together with the Austrian embassy in Slovenia. Participants at the symposium were welcomed by the head of the Germanic Studies Department of the Pedagogical Faculty, Dr Karmen Peržan-Kopecky, Pro-Dean of the University of Maribor, Dr Maks Oblak, Deputy-President of the Maribor municipal assembly, Janez Gajšek, and the Dean of the Pedagogical faculty in Maribor, Prof Dr Jože Pogačnik.
