Dnevnik: Deep Embarrassment

Ljubljana, 22 November - Back in 1994, the Slovene Parliament adopted a resolution on national security in which it said that NATO membership is Slovenia's strategic goal. In March of the the same year, Slovenia became a member of the Partnership for Peace in what was the first step towards full-fledged membership, which Slovenia expects at the Alliance's Prague Summit next year, Thursday's edition of the daily Dnevnik writes.
