Gov't Confirms Granting of 3G License to Mobitel; 3G Story Not Over Yet

Ljubljana, 22 November - The government granted the only UMTS license, worth 100 million euros, to Slovenia's leading mobile operator Mobitel on Thursday. This decision does not, however, mean an end to the 3G license story, which has included two public tenders and continued calls from Mobitel's rival, Simobil, for yet another tender.
