The Petek Case Calls for Concern, IFJ Secretary General Says

Maribor, 23 November - The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) is planning to examine next week the case of Miro Petek, a Slovene journalist who was attacked by a group of unidentified persons in February, and draft a special report on it, IFJ Secretary General Aidan White told Friday's daily Vecer. The move comes after the federation has received no reply to its letter of protest sent to Slovene top officials in a bid to speed up the resolution of the case.
