Slovenia's Foreign Debt in September US$ 1.8 Billion Higher Than Reserves
Ljubljana, 26 November - Slovenia's foreign exchange reserves totaled US$ 4.94 billion at the end of September. Foreign reserves thus expanded by US$ 99 million from a month before and US$ 564 million over the end of 2000, but were still by US$ 1.8 billion lower than the overall foreign debt, which totaled US$ 6.75 billion at the end of September, increasing by US$ 538 million since the end of last year, according to the latest issue of the Bulletin of the Bank of Slovenia.
