Interbrew Goes Ahead With Takeover Plans for Slovene Brewer; 331 Euros Offered Per Share

Ljubljana, 28 November - Belgian brewer Interbrew revealed details of its plan to purchase the remaining shares of Slovene brewer Pivovarna Union on Wednesday in Ljubljana. Representatives of Interbrew - the Belgian company currently owns 24.62 percent of Union - announced that it has published a bid for the purchase of Union shares at a price of 73,000 tolars (331 euros).
