Mayor Dismissed for the First Time in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 30 November - The mayor of one of the smallest and youngest Slovene municipalities, together with the town council, is to be dismissed for failure to secure the municipality's compliance with the law in what is the first dismissal of its kind in Slovenia. On Thursday, the Slovene government took a decision to this effect, and sent it to parliament for approval.
