Sava River Basin Countries Agree to Work Towards International River Treaty

Sarajevo, 30 November - A letter of intent on granting international status to the river Sava was signed by officials from Bosnia, Croatia, FR Yugoslavia and Slovenia on Thursday in Sarajevo. The signing came as part of a Stability Pact-sponsored ministerial meeting of countries of the Sava basin.
