Parliament Adopts Budgets for 2002 and 2003

Ljubljana, 30 November - The Slovene Parliament on Friday adopted the budgets for both 2002 and 2003. The budget for 2002 was endorsed in a 44:7 vote, while the 2003 budget was backed by 45 lawmakers and opposed by eight. The endorsement of both budgets makes Slovenia one of only a few countries in Europe to have adopted budgets for the upcoming two years.
