Slovenes Well Acquainted with Transition to Euro, Survey Shows

Ljubljana, 1 December - A survey published by the daily Delo on Saturday indicates that Slovenes seem to know more about the upcoming transition to the euro than many citizens of the 12 EU countries that will adopt the single European currency. As much as 83 percent of respondents namely know that the transition will happen, and some 76 percent believe they have received sufficient information about the euro.
