Despite BSE, Majority of Respondents Still Buy Beef

Ljubljana, 2 December - Nearly 76 percent of those polled have not stopped buying beef after the presence of BSE has recently been found in a cow in Slovenia. While over 10 percent are buying less beef, 4.5 percent have stopped buying it altogether in the wake of BSE, results of a survey published in Nedelo, the Sunday edition of Delo, show.
