Drnovsek and Fischer Discuss EU, NATO and Bilateral Relations

Ljubljana, 4 December - Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek and Speaker of the Austrian Parliament Heinz Fischer discussed, at their meeting on Monday, Slovene-Austrian relations, and hailed their consolidation. The pair also touched on EU enlargement as well as Slovenia's bid to join NATO, focussing on a reform of Slovene Armed Forces, Drnovsek's Office said in a press release last night. Speaker Fischer is to complete a two-day official visit to Slovenia on Tuesday.
