Slovenia Must Show Interest in Slovenes Abroad, Says State Secretary Tovornik

New York, 5 December - "The journey to the U.S. made a lot of sense, as I've encountered everything that is typical of Slovene emigrants, who came to the U.S. from all parts of Slovenia and have shared a similar destiny," said Slovene State Secretary for Slovenes abroad Magdalena Tovornik upon the conclusion of her ten-day tour of the U.S. areas inhabited by Slovenes. Tovornik, who completed her visit by visiting New York, also travelled to Cleveland, Denver, Pueblo, Leadville, Chisolm, Milwaukee and Chicago.
