Nearly 13 Tonnes of Cigarettes Seized at Slovene Port

Koper, 5 December - Slovene customs authorities discovered on Tuesday 12.7 tonnes of cigarettes in a ship that came to the port of Koper from the Italian port of Gioia Tauro. The cigarettes, discovered in a cargo of ground Indian red peppers, came from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and were destined to Poland and on to Germany, Greta Britain and France, chief of the Koper customs authorities, Milan Bogatic, told the press on Wednesday.
