Slovene Language and Literature in the Focus of International Conference

Ljubljana, 5 December - A three-day international forum entitled "Periods in the Slovene Language, Literature and Culture" kicked off in Ljubljana on Wednesday. Organised by the Education Ministry and the Department of Slavic Studies at the Ljubljana Faculty of Arts, this traditional event, the 20th of its kind since 1979, will see 60 experts on Slavic studies debate topical issues and the Slovene language since its emergence.
