Slovene Parties Respond to Government's Confirmation of Agreement with Vatican

Ljubljana, 7 December - Parliamentary parties have mixed feelings about the decision taken the government on Thursday to approve the wording of the agreement on legal issues with the Holy See. While two coalition parties, namely LDS and SLS+SKD welcomed the agreement, the other coalition party, ZLSD believes further negotiations are necessary, an opinion shared also by the coalition DeSUS. As for the opposition parties, the SDS praised the agreement, the SNS is "appalled" at it, while the SMS refused to comment on the content.
