EU Candidates Wish an Equal Role in Deciding about Europe's Future

Ljubljana, 7 December - Chairs of the parliamentary European affairs bodies from what is known as the Luxembourg group of candidate countries on Friday in Ljubljana reiterated the wish of their countries to play an equal part in debates on the future make-up of the EU. It is necessary for the candidates to play an equal role, as a decision about the common European future is in question here, said Lojze Peterle, head of the Slovene parliamentary commission for European affairs.
