Act on the Organisation and Financing of Education not Fully Compatible with Constitution

Ljubljana, 7 December - The Constitutional Court has ruled that part of the act on the organisation and financing of school activities and education is not compatible with the Constitution. Third paragraph of Article 72 does not allow any religious activities to be carried out in private kindergartens and schools that are granted a state concession, not even after regular classes, which are financed by the state.
