Maribor, 8 December - Slovene banks are not first class. Proof of which are results of the call to a show of interest for the purchase of stakes in the two state-owned banks. The response to the call proved to be a slap in the face; banks from neighbouring countries proving the most interested, while no response was to be had from the most renowned global financial institutions, the Maribor-based daily Vecer writes on Saturday.
