Review of Arts and Cultural Events in Slovenia - December 2000 to November 2001

Ljubljana, 8 December - At the turn of the millennium, the portfolio of the culture ministry was taken for the first time by a woman, namely Andreja Rihter, while one of the key anniversaries celebrated in 2001 was 300 years of Slovene Philharmonics, with the philharmonic house reopening its doors in September after a year of renovations.
